Terms of Service

Last updated: 8 July 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Orvex Review ("Orvex", "the Service", "we", "us") — an automated code-review service delivered through a GitHub App, a web dashboard, and related APIs at useorvex.com. By installing the GitHub App, creating a workspace, or purchasing a subscription, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Orvex analyses pull requests in repositories you connect and posts automated review findings, summaries, and (where enabled) suggested or committed fixes. Reviews are produced in part by large language models and static-analysis tools.

Reviews are suggestions, not guarantees. Automated findings can be incomplete or incorrect, and a clean review does not mean code is free of defects or vulnerabilities. You remain solely responsible for the code you merge, ship, and run. Your CI and your reviewers gate your merges — not Orvex.

2. Accounts and workspaces

3. Plans, billing, and renewals

4. Fair use and rate limits

All plans are subject to the published hourly review limits. "Unlimited" plans are unlimited for genuine, human-driven development activity; continuous automated review generation, benchmarking farms, or reselling review capacity may be throttled or, after notice, suspended.

5. Acceptable use

6. Your code and data

You retain all rights to your code. You grant us the limited right to process repository content (diffs, related files, metadata) solely to provide the Service — including transmitting excerpts to the third-party model providers that power reviews. Details of what we process, store, and for how long are in the Privacy Policy.

7. Availability and changes

We aim for high availability but the Service is provided without an uptime guarantee (Enterprise SLAs excepted). We may modify features over time; we will not materially reduce a paid plan's core capability mid-term without notice.

8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including losses arising from defects in code that the Service reviewed, failed to flag, or automatically fixed.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and uninstall the GitHub App at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, or abuse, with notice where practicable.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced on the dashboard or by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
